From Photography to the Microphone: A Participatory Approach to Climate Education in Mozambique

Description
Imagine a 10-year-old child photographing human waste on a wall separating the road from the beach, just outside their school on Mozambique Island, a place where open defecation remains common and poses a serious public health issue. The child dictates the caption: "This makes me sad because waste pollutes the world and can harm plants." Now imagine that same child, a few days later, presenting their findings at school and on community radio. as a journalist, a researcher, a citizen.
