Attending your ceremony
Your printed certificate and diploma supplement
If you attend your ceremony, you will collect your certificate and diploma supplement once you have crossed the stage.
Your digital certificate and diploma supplement
Following your graduation ceremony, you will receive an email titled "Welcome to PremierCert+". PremierCert+ is a secure online portal where you can view, print, download, and share digital copies of your official documents. For further information, view our PremierCert+ guidance.
Not attending (graduating in absentia)
Your printed certificate and diploma supplement
If you decide not to attend your ceremony, you will graduate in absentia and we'll mail your documents to the home address shown on . You don't need to prompt us to do this. We anticipate that your documents will leave our offices in the fortnight following the final graduation ceremony.
Make sure you've checked your address details are correct on by 5pm on Friday 3 July.
Our standard carrier service for UK addresses is Royal Mail first class postage. Our standard carrier service for addresses outside of the UK is Royal Mail first class tracked service (please note, this is not available for PO Box addresses).

Collection will be available at the Student Service Centre in the Portland Building between Wednesday 5 August - Friday 7 August.

We can courier your certificate and diploma supplement to you anywhere in the world.
The charge for this service is £40, but delivery to PO Box address is guaranteed. This may provide you peace of mind if your address is difficult to locate and you need your documents urgently.
The deadline to choose and pay for this service is 5pm on Friday 12 June. If you pay the charge after that deadline, we will send your documents to you by Royal Mail and we will refund the courier charge.

Where your certificate is mailed by Royal Mail first class tracked service or by courier, you will receive your tracking number by email and/or text message when it leaves our mailroom in Nottingham.

Following your graduation ceremony, you will receive an email titled "Welcome to PremierCert+". PremierCert+ is a secure online portal where you can view, print, download, and share digital copies of your official documents. For further information, view our PremierCert+ guidance.
PremierCert+ guidance
PremierCert+ is a secure online portal where you can view, download, and share your degree certificate and transcript of marks.
Click on the plus icons below for further information on using the portal.
You will receive an email titled "Welcome to PremierCert+".
This email will contain a link to access the portal along with your sign in details.
When you first log in, you will be prompted to create a unique password for your account.
Retrieving your documents
Once signed in, you can view or download your documents.
To do this, select the relevant document and click 'View' or 'Download'. You can also print your document by using the print icon in the toolbar.
Sending your documents to a third-party
You can share your documents with a third-party, for example, an employer or university, by entering their email address into the 'Document details' box and selecting 'Send'.
The recipient will receive a link to view your documents. Please note, for security reasons, the link will expire after one week.
Having trouble accessing PremierCert+?
- Use a desktop or laptop - the portal is not mobile friendly
- Sign in using the details provided in the email (not your university username)
- Check that pop-ups are enabled
- Use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge
