Postdoctoral Researchers
Joonas Hirvonen
Joonas works on phase transitions in particle physics, including both in the context of cosmological thermal history and in neutron star cores.
2024-
Postdoctoral Researcher, 海角黑料
2020-2024
PhD in Physics, University of Helsinki, Finland
Kieran Wood
Kieran works on modified gravity, in particular, on theories involving interacting, massive spin-2 fields (massive/multi-gravity). His work focusses on the theoretical aspects of these theories, such as their relationship to extra dimensions, alongside more phenomenological aspects, such as their implications for cosmology, dark energy, dark matter and black holes.
2026
-
Postdoctoral Researcher, University Of Nottingham
2021-2026
PhD, University Of Nottingham
2017-2021
MSci Physics with Theoretical Physics, University Of Nottingham
Qi-Xin Xie
Qi-Xin works on non-perturbative field theories and in particular solitons. He uses lattice field theory to study soliton dynamics, including composite solitons, superradiance and quantum evolution. He is also interested in effective field theories.
2024-
