Support for Fellowship applications
We welcome expressions of interest (EoIs) for personal Fellowships including:
- School EoI deadline 28th November 2025.
- School EoI deadline 1st June 2026 (potential applicants should contact the academic they wish to work with well in advance of this deadline).
- School EoI deadline TBC June/July 2026 (potential applicants should contact an academic within the relevant research group well in advance of this deadline).
- School EoI deadline 30th June 2026, further details will be available from the Astronomy and Particle Cosmology research group webpages.
- There is a cap on the number of applications allowed from each institution. School EoI deadline for Round 11: 28th January 2026.
If the scheme you're considering applying for doesn't have specific instructions in the above list, please email the Head of School (with the Director of Research, Prof. Anne Green, cc-ed in). If you don't see the fellowship you'd like to apply for listed above, then please get in touch for further advice. Potential applicants are also advised to contact the proposed host research group as soon as possible.
Please let us know that you intend to apply well in advance (unless otherwise specified above, at least 6 weeks) of the funder deadline. Please include in your email a CV and an outline of your proposal, and let us know what your proposed research would cost (especially if you need access to specific equipment or facilities).
Many fellowship applications need letters of support from the Head of School and/or institutional support. These can usually only be requested once the application is almost complete and it is in your interest to allow sufficient time for this additional support to be secured.
