No — we can only confirm your degree using the University’s grading system. 

Schools/Departments hold student essays for a period of 12 months, dissertations for 5 years and theses for a maximum of 12 months. Contact your former school or department to enquire.  

All PhD theses are held by the Library. 

No - we are unable to provide personal or academic references. Please contact your former tutor or lecturer. You can contact individual members of staff using the Staff Look Up search tool.

After the end date of your course you have access to your student email account for 90 days. They remain on the yniversity system for a further 90 days, after which point they are deleted. Further information is available at Student IT Services.
