After winning two of their three pool matches, the º£½ÇºÚÁÏ men's 1st team moved into the knockout phases of the Men's Championship competition where they then took their performances to another level. Defeating the University of Exeter, a team who had topped their group with three straight wins, by a score line of 26-12, the Green and Gold moved into the semi-finals where they would face Durham University.

Here, the Nottingham side produced a defiant defensive display to take a 19-5 victory and securing a place in the final against local rivals, Loughborough University. When it mattered the most, the team delivered another ruthless defensive effort and also combined this with a blitz of scoring to register an emphatic 35-5 victory and the title of national champions!

Meanwhile the men's 2nd team found themselves in the Men's Trophy plate, winning their semi-final against Cardiff Met 24-15, and then defeating Exeter University 22-7 in the final to claim another piece of silverware for Nottingham.
