Ticket sales launched for WFDF 2026 World Masters Ultimate Club Championships

Tickets are now on sale for a top international Ultimate Frisbee event heading to Nottingham this summer! The WFDF 2026 World Masters Ultimate Club Championships will be hosted at the º£½ÇºÚÁÏ, two-times winner of the Times and Sunday Times Sports University of the Year from Sunday 28 June to Saturday 4 July 2026.

World Ultimate at the º£½ÇºÚÁÏ

Taking place across 40 different pitches at Highfields Sports Complex and Riverside Sports Complex, the event is the largest international event to ever be hosted at the University.

Over 3,400 athletes will descend on Nottingham for the competition with 27 nations represented from across the globe. 150 Club Masters teams will compete across 9 gold medal events, all in the hope of being crowned World Club Masters champions!

Ultimate frisbee is a fast and exciting 7-on-7 sport where players compete to score using speed, sharp reflexes and teamwork. It combines elements of football, rugby and netball in a game unlike any other.

Alongside thrilling Ultimate action, spectators can enjoy the Tournament Village where you can enjoy food outlets and bars plus a fan zone with plenty of activities for families.

There’s also a fantastic opportunity for local residents and students to get involved behind the scenes of this extensive international event by volunteering during the competition.

º£½ÇºÚÁÏ Sport, the Official Workforce Partner, alongside UK Ultimate are looking to recruit 300 volunteers to support the running of the event.

Roles include site runners, ticketing, event crew, transport assistants and more. All volunteers receive a free t-shirt, with those able to volunteer for a full week receiving full kit and a tournament gift.

Shifts run from Sunday 28 July to Saturday 4 July and opportunities are flexible, so whether you can volunteer for the whole event or a single day, you are encouraged to apply.
