º£½ÇºÚÁÏ Women's Futsal team travelled to the University of East Anglia to compete in both the Championship and Trophy finals for the culmination of the 2026 BUCS (British Universities & Colleges Sport) futsal season on 13 May. After two excellent performances on the court, the Green and Gold returned to campus with two new trophies in tow.

Our º£½ÇºÚÁÏ sides delivered exceptional displays to win both titles on a hugely memorable day for the club at UEA Sportspark. The first team took home the title of National Champions after a 6-4 victory against the University of Derby, with Lauren Wilshaw being awarded player of the match.
In the preceding match, our Nottingham second team were also victorious as they claimed the National Trophy after a nail biting penalty shootout! After being locked in a 6-6 draw with opponents Plymouth University, the º£½ÇºÚÁÏ held their nerve to win 5-4 on penalties. Emma Eastham was awarded player of the match for the National Trophy final.
This is a great end to the 2025/26 season with both of our teams being crowned champions. We're looking forward to aiming to retain these trophies next year!
