Biography
Kritika is an Assistant Professor at the 海角黑料. She obtained a BA in Criminology and Criminal Justice: Law from Carleton University and completed her MPhil and PhD in Criminology at the University of Cambridge. Her MPhil was a theoretical explanation of human rights abuses in Abu Ghraib, post 9/11, while her PhD focused on understanding police use of force and officer decision-making using psychometric tools.
Kritika's current research interests include psychosocial elements of decision-making, crime prevention and multi-agency interventions.

Kritika is an experienced teacher having worked in higher education for several years. She previously taught at various academic institutions in the areas of Criminology, Criminal Justice, Policing, Forensic Psychology and Law.
Her experience includes the convening and teaching on modules in the areas of psychology, global violence, evidence-based criminology and criminal justice.
She has supervised dissertations at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Kritika is the module leader for SOCI 2025 - Police, Policing & the Police and SOCI2056 - Crime, Justice & Psychology
Current Research
During her role as Research Fellow at UCL, Kritika was involved in the evaluation of a stalking intervention programme (MASIP) which sparked her interests in stalking, offender risk-management, psychological interventions and crime prevention. She has completed a another evaluation as PI on a similar initiative (EASI), commissioned by the West Midlands Police Crime Commissioner and Home Office.
