Vanessa Bell is a Research Associate working as part of a Rights Lab project called Measuring Motivations to research the faith-based aspects of anti-trafficking / anti-slavery work. Her ESRC-funded PhD in Social Policy at the University of Bristol (Centre for Gender and Violence Research) was an interdisciplinary qualitative project examining the impact of domestic abuse in UK Christian contexts on women’s faith and social worlds. Vanessa also holds a BA in Theology and Religion and an MA in Theology from the University of Exeter.
