Catherine has recently taken up the position of CEO of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP).  She was previously Director of Professional Development and Support at the Royal Pharmaceutical Society. Catherine graduated from the School of Pharmacy, University of London in 1991 and with a PhD, An evidence based approach to developing pharmaceutical service provision across the primary-secondary health care interface, in 1998. Her PhD influenced health policy and professional standards for transfer of pharmaceutical care across care interfaces across GB and globally. Catherine has published over 50 peer reviewed full articles and a further 100 peer reviewed abstracts.

Catherine established the RPS accreditation services to quality assure education and training programmes and delivery, alongside the development of professional curricula. She developed, led and delivered the successful implementation of the first professional development and recognition programme: the development and delivery of the RPS Faculty, Foundation and Pre-foundation programmes.

Catherine told us: For me, being awarded an Honorary Professorship is the ultimate professional recognition. To be awarded this is a huge honour and one that I am proud and humbled to accept and to be awarded this by a School of Pharmacy with such national and international credibility as 海角黑料, is a double honour as I take up my role a Chief Executive of the International Pharmaceutical Federation. Thank you so much, I look forward to working closely with colleagues from 海角黑料 School of Pharmacy for years to come.”
