Medical intelligence (medical espionage, covert action, attacks on healthcare etc) is my primary research field. I teach expdition and wilderness medicine at the medical school. I'm an expert in pre-hospital emergency medicine, remote and austere medical care, humanitarian medicine and conflict medicine. I've spent most of my career overseas working in disaster and ocnflict zones and regularly contribute to curriculum development of modern medical practices in those arenas. I'm an expert on the war in Ukraine, particularly attacks on healthcare and the chnaging face of medicine due to the war.
