My primary expertise is in International Relations and Security Studies, with an emphasis on East Asian international relations and, in particular, Sino-Japanese relations. This includes their foreign policy and also domestic politics as it pertains to factors that might affect their relationship, such as nationalist movements and government agendas. I also offer an emerging research profile on AI and neuro-inclusive pedagogy. For example, exploring student perceptions on AI-use in their teaching and learning and developing AI-based classroom activities tailored towards students with conditions such as autism and ADHD.
