Professor David Murphy was invited to deliver the speech at the annual Mark Kilborn Lecture held by the University of Strathclyde. His speech was titled "From treatment to transformation: Towards a pedagogical understanding of person-centred therapy".

Professor Murphy is a Professor of Psychology and Education and convenor of the school's Centre for Research in Human Flourishing.
