Dr Richard Doyle, Assistant Professor in Counselling, has been invited by the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) to talk at their Making Connections event on 15 April 2026. The title of his talk is More than a diagnosis: Depression and young people from a person-centred perspective.
Dr Doyle tutors on the MA in Person-Centred Experiential Counselling and Psychotherapy. He also delivers the Person-Centred Experiential Counselling for Depression (PCE-CfD) course, providing a recognised qualification for counsellors working in the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) programme within the NHS. He is a member of the school's Centre for Research in Human Flouishing.
