Biography

I am a professor at the School of Economics at the º£½ÇºÚÁÏ. Previously, I held positions as an assistant professor at the University of Cambridge and IMT Lucca, and as a Max Weber post-doctoral fellow at the European University Institute in Florence. Currently, I am a research fellow at CEPR, CEP London School of Economics, and CESifo Munich.

Expertise Summary

My expertise lies in International Trade, Macroeconomics, and Economic Growth. My research examines how trade policy affects innovation, growth, unemployment, inequality, as well as how innovation and industrial policy can foster growth and development. I also have a broad research agenda on the origins and consequences of firms' market power, with particular emphasis on its effects on innovation incentives, long-run growth, and the dynamics of income and wealth inequality.
