I Graduated with a BA in Geography in 2001. Since then I have worked in the environmental sector focusing on flood risk and environmental pollution management. Working with communities and flood risk responders to prepare a coordinated response to flood risk in the East Midlands area. More recently I am now working in the education sector within a Teaching Learning and Assessment team.
Areas of technical expertise:
People management, managing and supporting colleagues to deliver a high profile and challenging program of work.
Communication of technical information to colleagues and members of the public.
Emergency planning. Working within the Civil Contingencies Act 2004 and working with numerous public and private sector organizations to develop consistent and effective plans and procedures to respond to both flood and pollution incidents.
