Sofia Anna Altisent is a mental health researcher and member of the Recovery Research Team, based at the Nottingham Institute of Mental Health. Her research project explores cross-cultural experiences of mental health recovery narratives (MHRNs) and self-compassion. She uses qualitative methodology to explore how MHRNs impact self-compassion.
